Artist pop breuddwydiol diwydiannol yw em koko, sy’n cyfuno shoegaze, electronica a roc diwydiannol, heb amrantu eu llygaid cysglyd byth.

Ers i em koko roi ei act am y tro cyntaf ym mis Ionawr 2024, mae hi wedi chwarae gyda Panic Shack, Omni a Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, wedi rhyddhau ei EP cyntaf "In Nowhere", a wnaeth gyrraedd Mixtape BBC Radio 6 a derbyniodd adolygiad rhagorol gan Clash Magazine, gan ddisgrifio ei EP fel “an absolute spellbinder". Ymhlith hyn bu hefyd yn chwarae yng ngŵyl Green Man 2024 gyda’i band byw trawiadol, sy’n cynnwys Ivor Woods ac Ellie Strong yn aelodau.

Daeth yr amryddawn Emily Kocan yn wreiddiol o’r Fenni a chwaraeodd bas a'r synth i'r cerddorion blaenllaw o dde Cymru, Alice Low a Minas (nawr teethin). Mae’r artist yn rhoi’r arbenigedd bas a synth hwnnw yn flaenllaw yn ei EP cyntaf “yn cyfleu negeseuon datgysylltiedig o gryfder ac anogaeth o’r tu hwnt i orchudd terfynol y brif ffrâm electronig.”

em koko is an industrial dream-pop artist, blending shoegaze, electronica and industrial rock, without ever blinking their sleepy eyes.

Since em koko debuted her act in January 2024, she has shared line-ups with Panic Shack, Omni and Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, released her debut EP "In Nowhere", which made the BBC Radio 6 Mixtape and received an excellent review from Clash Magazine, describing her EP as "An absolute spellbinder". Among this she also played Green Man festival 2024 with her impressive live band, which consists of members Ivor Woods and Ellie Strong.

The multitalented Emily Kocan found her footing in Abergavenny and played bass and synth for leading South Wales musicians Alice Low and Minas (now teethin). Her debut EP has the artist putting that bass and synth expertise right at the fore “communicating dissociated messages of strength and encouragement from beyond the liminal veil of the electronic mainframe.”
